Navigating Through the Gray_______________________

I was watching Suddenly Single, a play where a happily married woman's life upends when her husband of 17 years up and leave her for another woman. I started wonder how many times women (and men too) go through situations like this. Umm...too many times to count. What happens when you've had the rug pulled from underneath your feet, in an instant? Some may find themselves feeling empty inside, can't eat can't sleep, still trying to hold on to hope. Asking themselves "what just happened?" Many bounce back, go to the club, have fun hanging out with friends, not thinking twice about it.

When devoting much time, energy, efforts, money, memories etc. with someone, separating or breaking up is never easy. Desires of a meaningful connection and wanting a happily ever after is natural, but never lose yourself. Instead kick your independency on auto pilot. Keeping yourself busy and motivation helps a great deal. We've all heard of going out on dates to help get over your breakup. This has proven to work for some people. Confusion may weigh you down and you may be in a slump but remember, this too shall pass.
Whether it's a mutual agreement to part ways but remain friends. Or you can't get rid of your ex fast enough, simply means move on to another chapter of your life. Try to get over the hurdle of trials and tribulations, and as time passes it'll become more prominent if it was right for you from the start. They say love is blind. How do you move forward without leaving a part of you behind?
