If you are suffering from some skin issues and need natural
relief, try 100% pure Neem Oil. This oil has been a part of the Ayurveda
medicine for thousands of years and has therapeutic properties similar to Tea
Tree Oil.
Neem Oil is rich in fatty acids and nourishing to the skin.
It is known to be great for dry skin, acne, eczema and an array of skin
conditions. This oil is found in many skin cosmetics and products. It can be
found in toothpaste and mouthwashes which aid in healthy teeth and gums- keeping
gingivitis and cavities at bay.
Use this essential oil in combination with carrier oils (olive
oil, coconut oil etc.) will work wonders for dandruff, itchy scalp and head
lice. Just a few drops of this oil can be added to your favorite lotions, oils
or shampoos/conditioners to give an extra boost of relief. It promotes blood
circulation to the scalp helping to promote growth. Use on scalp and massage,
leave on for an hour (or overnight) and shampoo out.
It is also said that it will help with nail infections/fungus,
cracks and peeling nails. This golden brown-colored oil has a nutty smell to it
and may solidify at room temperature, to melt, simply run warm water over
bottle or allow it to sit in a mug/cup with warm water until it returns to a
liquid state. Keep away from sensitive areas, out of reach of children and do not
ingest the oil.
For the many benefits Neem Oil has to offer, it may be a
great investment to try. Although the label says it can be used directly on the
skin, as with any new product etc. check with your doctor/pharmacist about any
concerns.
