Bacon Wrapped Chicken Tenders

There are many ways to make chicken but adding bacon seems to rev up the taste buds and get the juices flowing, a little more. I came across this recipe and want to share it, are you ready to try it as well (it's pretty simple). A great appetizer.

What you need:
1 lb Chicken Tenders (about 10 pieces)
10 strips of bacon (sliced length-wise, I used turkey bacon)
1 tsp Paprika
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Onion Powder
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp Pepper
1/2 tsp Italian Seasoning
2/3 cup light brown sugar
2 tbsp Chili Powder

Preheat oven 350 degrees - bake for 25-30 mins
Mix all seasonings (except Chili Powder)

  • (upper left) Season chicken on both sides. (upper right) cut strips of bacon length-wise and wrap 1 piece around top of chicken tender and another piece around bottom of tender. (bottom left) Mix brown sugar and Chili Powder together, sprinkle over chicken- really coat it on. (bottom right) Place tenders on a greased pan or cookie sheet. Bake for 25 mins (optional: broil 3-5 mins longer to get a nice crisp on the bacon)

Look at that seasoned-sweet goodness! Great with your favorite dipping sauce or as is, Enjoy!
Let me know what you think?
