By | Thursday, February 19, 2015 Leave a Comment

On days when taking a vacation from the kitchen seems to give you a much needed break then take-out or dining in is the way to go. So, today’s restaurant of choice is CARRABBA’S Italian Grill. The savory food and appealing atmosphere make this trip a pleasurable one. Italian bread dipped in olive oil-infused herbs always seem to get the mouth-watering juices going while waiting on your entre’.

FOR STARTERS

SAUSAGE AND LENTIL SOUP and/or HOUSE SALAD
This light but filling soup have so much goodness that I couldn’t stay off of it.

ENTRE’

CHICKEN TRIO- A petite version of Chicken Bryan, Chicken Marsala and Rosa Maria
v   Chicken Bryan- Topped with goat cheese sundried tomatoes, basil and lemon butter sauce.
v   Chicken Marsala- topped with mushrooms, prosciutto and housemade Lombardo Marsala sauce.
v   Rosa Maria- Stuffed with Fontana cheese and prosciutto topped with mushrooms and basil lemon butter sauce.
Who can resist adding extra fresh parmesan cheese?!

WOOD-GRILLED SALMON- Topped with tomato basil vinaigrette, grapes and broccoli.
This is one healthy dish that can never go wrong. Cooked to perfection. All I can say is ….more please.
By the time dessert was on its way out, my Sausage & Lentil Soup was still being worked on, lol, but it was finished off just in time for some chocolate goodness.

DESSERT

SOGNO DI CIOCCOLATA “CHOCOLATE DREAM”
Rich fudge brownie and chocolate mousse topped with fresh whipped cream and chocolate sauce. A chocoholic’s dream.
As with most places I dine, I can never finish my meal so it is equally satisfying to know that later when your hunger arise, good-eating leftovers awaits you. CARRABBA’S is a nice place to treat yourself. Enjoy!

Do you have a favorite dish or place? Hit me up and share. Until next time xoxo
