SHEA MOISTURE HAIR PRODUCTS

Wow, where can I start with this product line… I love it! As you may have read in my Product (Junkie) Overlaod post that I have very thirsty hair and while I’m always trying various products. I heard and read great things about this line.

Although this line is perfect for the natural sistahs, it works great for my relaxed hair as well. No matter if you’re transitioning or texlax, it’s great for all hair types. There are different formulas available depending on what your hair’s starving for. I noticed a ‘huge’ difference on my very first usage. I used the products shown, the ‘Raw Shea Butter Dry, Damaged' formula. It had a nice lathered with just a little product. It gave nice slip as my fingers was gliding through my hair while washing, no stripping the hair. If you’re not a fan of the way pure raw shea butter smell, then you may cater to this lightly clean scent (I'm in love with the smell). I love they contain natural ingredients.

You should find Shea Moisture products at your local Walgreens, Target and Walmart as well as online. Each are sold around $9.99 in stores but may vary online. I also discovered a 3-piece set sold for $19.99. A little goes a long way, so you definitely get your money’s worth. Look for more of their daily styling products as well as facial and baby products.

Olive/Brown label: Contains organic Yucca and Baobab for thickening fine and thin hair.
Black label: Contains Organic African Black Soap for balancing and cleansing dry itchy scalp.
Yellow/Goldish label: Contains Organic Raw Shea Butter for deep treating dry damaged hair.
Coral/Salmon label: Organic Coconut and Hibiscus for thick curly hair, meant to enhance curls

Find out what works best for you, depending on your hair type. I tried the Olive/Brown label once and the results were not as good as the Yellow/golden label but it may fit someone else better. Have you used this product? Did you like or love it?
