HAPPY NEW YEAR-RESOLUTION

By | Sunday, January 27, 2013 Leave a Comment

Another year to a newer you, 2013 got off to a great start and hopefully many of you set aside a very promising New Year’s Resolution that you can stick to. As we know, starting a new routine for the first time or yet “again” is always the hardest. Like many, getting more exercise and eating healthier are penned on my list. Luckily for me a new LA Fitness in my neighborhood (currently in construction) will be ready to use in no time.

Others resolutions may include quitting or switching jobs/careers, getting rid of toxic friends, furthering education, quit smoking etc.

If your life is full of intricacies, yoga or pilates is a healthy way to put normality back in your life. Slow it down, relax and get things in order to feel renewed and energized. Finding ways to add more value to your life is very rewarding. Although we’re in the winter months but, for me, it’s Spring….cleaning that is. I found myself changing some home decor, working on a DIY project, which I'll do a post on that and getting super organized. Whew! LOL:)

A friend of mine shared her concern about the job market and mentioned how tired she grew of working for a company and wanted to work for herself, be her own boss. It’s a great idea and there’s many perks to having your own business. So, as a friend, I will check in on her business endeavor with plenty of encouragement along the way...Go get 'em!

Let me not forget about traveling more this year as well. I will make it a priority to experience the many people and cultures of the world. Building great memories through various experiences will be a great addition this year.

Saving money/Reducing Debt always top the lists even if it’s challenging to do both simultaneously, but it’s possible. Start with a free credit report and depending on the state you reside, some issue two free reports per year. Knowing where you stand with your credit score along with checking for identity thefts, will keep things in good standing. Also whatever the income, saving is always a must. Make a budget and stick to it, remain persistent. Rainy days always come once in awhile when we least expect it...and for some it's more like hurricanes and tornados!
Fiancial freedom is the life we strive for.

What are some of your New Year’s Resolutions, buying a house, purchasing a new car, giving back etc? It’s still at the top of the year and as always, it’s never too late to start. So good luck and many blessings for all that's to come in your 2013 chapter of Life...CHEERS! :)
